Tree rings were printed using a relief print method to reveal the ring pattern of an Eastern white pine (Pinus strobus) from Fredericton, New Brunswick.

This painting was inspired by raging forest fires that sweep through our forests every summer. Although the fire itself can be devastating, but it gives the forest a clean slate to grow in new ways. We all need to start fresh from time to time!

Printed on 8×10 ” ultra premium matte photo paper and packaged in acid free cellophane sleeves.
