Original painted with acrylic on canvas. Tree rings were printed using a relief print method to reveal the ring pattern of an Eastern white pine (Pinus strobus) from Fredericton, New Brunswick. Salvaged from a woodsmen competition at a bucksaw event.
This painting was inspired by raging forest fires that sweep through our forests every summer. Although the fire itself can be devastating, but it gives the forest a clean slate to grow in new ways. We all need to start fresh from time to time!

Printed on 8×10 ” ultra premium matte photo paper and packaged in acid free cellophane sleeves.
