The colours and design of this mat were inspired by the rolling hills of New Brunswick as I rode on the back of my husband’s motorcycle. I was writing in my journal about the sensation of flow and living with an open heart. The words written around the design are “Like a heart opening within a landscape. Like a landscape that rolls off into the distance, big & vast & beautiful.” 40cm x 40cm
Hooked on linen with new and recycled wool fabric, wool yarns, sari ribbon and silk yarn.
