The backdrop for this image was a couple in their boat at Oak Island. The refraction just started to break up as the drop touched a stamen on the head of a wild aster. It reminds one of the mysterious Oak Island and the beauty the mysteries of the world have to offer .Captured in camera as all of my water drop refractions are.I have spent over 12 years perfecting this technique

Connie was one of the first photographers to embrace working with water drop refractions in free falling water drops. Her work has gained her much recognition and many awards.
